How’s Your Heater Doing?
The last week has brought some awesome weather, and we’ve been able to turn down the heat, but we’ll still need to keep the flame going for a little while longer.
That’s because the majority of our guests come from inland where the temperatures are warmer.
So when guests get here, they can get a little chilly from our lovely cool ocean weather, and need to turn the furnace on to take the edge off.
This can happen year-round depending upon the guest.
We know that, so we wanted to remind you that keeping your furnace maintained is very important.
In fact did you know it should have a yearly maintenance checkup/tune up, because it could extend the life of the furnace?
We just started working with a new Heating company and hope to build a great relationship with them, but also at the same time, we hope we don’t see them that often!
Their newsletter states that a complete tune up and cleaning, that includes a heat exchanger inspection is best, and this typically takes up to an hour and a half.
